A new day, a new life coming...

Good progress this morning-- first check of the day shows baby's head is much lower than yesterday, no bouncing around, right at the cervix, and the cervix is further thinned... so Angie's showering and getting ready for the pitocin IV...

More news as it develops...

Dear Tony and Angi, This is better then any soap or real tv I'v ever seen!!! I am so hopefull that it will happen soon for you guys, hospitals are no fun. It is true though: as soon as Isabella is born, you will have forgotten all of this and it will be worth every minute. Love, Sabine

Tony and Angie, I feel like I am at work getting report on my next patient. I understand all the progress and procedures Angi is going through. I was so glad Angi got some sleep. 2 day inductions are hard on moms {and dads} but I am usually more focused on moms. I am not working today so I will be watching the website in anticipation of Isabella's arrival. Hope that vitamin p{pitocin} does the trick today. Angi and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Cousin Suzie

Good Morning Tony and Angi!
Isabel Lena and Kathleen here to lend our support!

Isabel Lena wanted to tell little Isabella that it is ok to come out...actually, it is really fun! you get completely RULE the lives of those two adults who keep passing you back and forth! All you have to do is scream a little bit, and they are tripping over each other to pick you up and feed you, kiss you, whatever! Oh, you should see how the one who calls himself "Papa" gets SO upset when the one who calls herself "Mama" is in the shower, and I start screaming! Something about him not having the same anatomy as the Mama lady... I have alot of fun with that one,...you will too!

Yes, little Isabel Lena has figured us out...as your little angel will soon...or perhaps already has :)

I am so happy that you are at St Josephs! Our experience was so wonderful there. They have the most experienced nursing staff in the Healtheast system, as you are already finding out...everyone is wonderful! I am confident that they are taking excellent care of you both...and soon all 3 of you! Our delivery nurse was Gina, we loved her...although all of the nurses who took care of me afterwards where great too!

Hang in there, you are both doing really fantastically...and when this is all over you are going to have a BEAUTIFUL BABY to take home...then the challenge really begins :)

Kathleen and Isabel Lena
